eau perfumeAs a kid, my parents were very creative in making ways to hide what was wrapped under the tree. Like all kids, my brother and I, when the coast was clear would go to the gifts, lift them up, shake them and try to unwrap a corner to see what was inside. To thwart our attempts my mom would put the gifts in different boxes loaded with Legos or extra weight so they would rattle or feel heavier then they actually were.

This year I want to try out the same gift wrapping techniques they used on me. I am known in my family for being terrible at wrapping presents. For one of my mom’s gifts, I am going to leave a corner of the interior boxed exposed so she will see it and think she has what I got her figured out. My female roommate had an old EAU perfume box. I am going to put my gift inside of it and expose the EAU perfume brand name but make it look like an accident. I’ll be sure to position it under the tree so my mom sees it when walking by. She will think it is EAU perfume all the way up until opening up the box. It will be perfect thanks to a simple EAU perfume box.
