My friend Tom never learns when it comes to females. Two months ago he started dating a classy woman from a wealthy family. Her name is Celia and Tom is completely infatuated. I’m glad Tom is happy but I wish he wasn’t so insecure about Celia’s social status. He seems to think it’s a good idea to shower Celia with expensive gifts because he imagines that this is what her rich ex-boyfriends all did. I think Tom is being silly. I think that Celia actually likes the fact that Tom is as working class as they come because opposites attract.
