perfume and cologne

My best friend is one of those people who loves to buy perfume and cologne that no one else has. For as long as I've known her she has been one of those people who dares to be different and those who know and love her know to expect just that from her. It doesn't just stop with the perfume and cologne that she wears, but also with her clothing, her jewelry and even the way she decorates her home. I've even noticed that she eats different foods than what I would consider the norm. You may be wondering why it is that I say she likes perfume and cologne that others know nothing about. You may be thinking that because she's a woman, that surely I must mean that she only wears perfume, like most women but you would be wrong in your assumption. Remember, I said that she definitely dares to be different and sometimes that means wearing perfume and cologne together. In fact, I remember several years ago when we were out shopping that she put on both perfume and cologne at the same time. The funny thing is, while I turned my nose up at her because she was putting on both perfume and cologne the combined scent wasn't that bad. It's one of those things that she could pull off and it would smell good, but if I did it, people would be talking about it for years to come. It's funny how some things are accepted as the norm by some people and by others the same thing wouldn't be accepted, such as wearing perfume and cologne at the same time.

Since her birthday is just around the corner, I decided not too long ago to see what kind of perfume and cologne I could find online. I knew that in order for her to really love and appreciate the perfume and cologne, it would have to be something that she didn't already have in her vast collection, so I admit that I stopped in for a visit just so I could get the opportunity to browse her perfume and cologne collection.
