Perfume and Cologne As A Pick-Me-Up For a Friend

For a while now I've been trying to think of a gift idea for a friend to offer a little encouragement. She's going through a difficult time and I just want her to know that I've been thinking of her. I thought about jewelry, but decided against it and my husband suggested that maybe I could look at the perfume and cologne online and find something that she'd like. Wedding anniversaries are very special occasions. I like to celebrate at home. A homemade dinner of all our favorites served by candle light with a well aged bottle of wine sounds just about perfect to me and my husband. This is exactly how we have spent all of our wedding anniversaries for the past twenty-six years.

The only thing that has changed is the menu. Otherwise we both can count on and look forward to a romantic evening at home on our special day. Another part of this tradition is that we get dressed up. Both of us wear the same perfume and cologne we wore during the original celebration of our union. Luckily, our choice of perfume and cologne are still available.

We used to ship the kids to relatives or friends houses on these evenings. But now they all grown with kids of their own. They are well aware of our traditional celebration and have given us our signature perfume and cologne as a gift prior to the date so we are prepared. I have a teenage girl who loves to wear eau perfume. I don't like to buy really expensive or overly sexy scents, but don't want to get kiddie scents either. It used to be so hard to find a fragrance for teen girls, but since the internet came about, it is much easier. I can search for teen girl eau perfume and several pages come up. That really makes it more convenient. My daughter likes to smell good and have a fresh, young fragrance to wear. It gives her confidence knowing that she smells great all day. And it makes her feel like she fits in better, when she can wear scents like other teenagers are wearing. I want to get some eau perfume for her Easter basket this year. We don't put all candy in their baskets, a little candy plus a nicer little gift and maybe some small items that aren't edible like stickers or something. My favorite men's cologne fragrace has been the same since I was a teen. It has been Polo for Men my whole life, really. When I was a teenager, my friend and I would go into the department stores at the mall and spray the tester bottles onto our jean jackets and our purses. That way we could smell it whenever we wanted to. I would sit in class and sniff the lapel of my jacket so I could enjoy the Polo. We didn't care that we smelled like men, because all we cared about was smelling this scent whenever we wanted. It sounds kind of silly now, but it is a memory that makes me smile even now. Now that I'm an adult, I still love the men's cologne fragrace Polo. My husband has worn it for me since we were dating, because he knows that I'm sort of obsessed with it. I love how Polo men's cologne fragrace smells on him, too. It makes me feel happy that he likes to wear it just for me.

My birthday is coming up and I've been wondering what I will get as a gift. Maybe some cologne perfume. My husband has been known to buy me cologne perfume for birthdays in the past. My friend Tom never learns when it comes to females. Two months ago he started dating a classy woman from a wealthy family. Her name is Celia and Tom is completely infatuated. I am very fastidious about wearing cologne perfume so that someone on the outside looking in might think I am a bit obsessive about it. I have recently been asking myself why I am so particular about wearing cologne perfume. I think that the answer to this question has a great deal to do with my own sense of smell. I have always had a very keen sense of smell and I am a perceptive person so I tend to notice most things about my surroundings. Hence if I come across an individual that smells less than fresh I tend to pick up on it straight away and frankly it makes me feel rather disgusted. Whenever I have smelled stale body odor on another individual I have thought about how bad I would feel if I thought I made another individual feel nauseated because I wasn’t clean and fresh. I believe we should treat other people as we wish to be treated. I like it when the people around me smell good. I wear cologne perfume because I like the way it smells on others and and I like to be courteous to other people. If ever I get stuck in an elevator with a complete stranger I want them to remember the experience in a positive way. It was a Friday evening and I was at the gym sweating it out on a treadmill. I knew my girlfriend’s mom was coming into town that day and expected her to go out and have dinner, possibly calling me later to see what was going on. I am a salesman and I travel a lot. Finding gifts for the people in my life has, in the past, been very difficult. Last year I was looking for gifts for my wifes birthday. Picking out gifts has not always been easy for me, to say the least. Last year I tried to be too unique in my gift giving, and the gift definitely reflected that. I ordered my wife a pet Spider monkey last year. We were watching a program on pet monkeys, and the Spider monkey seemed like the logical choice if I was going to own a pet monkey. I had a very large cage that I still needed to put together so I put her into the bathroom and proceeded to put together the cage. By the time I was done with the cage and I returned to the bathroom, our newest addition to the family had opened the window, ripped the screen out and was gone. I looked and looked. We put up posters and took out adds in several different news publications, still nothing.

My best friend is one of those people who loves to buy perfume and cologne that no one else has. For as long as I've known her she has been one of those people who dares to be different and those who know and love her know to expect just that from her. It doesn't just stop with the perfume and cologne that she wears, but also with her clothing, her jewelry and even the way she decorates her home. I've even noticed that she eats different foods than what I would consider the norm. You may be wondering why it is that I say she likes perfume and cologne that others know nothing about. You may be thinking that because she's a woman, that surely I must mean that she only wears perfume, like most women but you would be wrong in your assumption. Remember, I said that she definitely dares to be different and sometimes that means wearing perfume and cologne together. In fact, I remember several years ago when we were out shopping that she put on both perfume and cologne at the same time. The funny thing is, while I turned my nose up at her because she was putting on both perfume and cologne the combined scent wasn't that bad. It's one of those things that she could pull off and it would smell good, but if I did it, people would be talking about it for years to come. Should a woman only wear eau perfume products that her romantic partner likes the smell of? The reason I ask this question is because I take the way my husband smells very seriously. I like it when I he wears the products I have chosen for him. I do not like the smell of the cheap cologne his mother buys for him and I kind of wish he wouldn’t wear it. I would like it much better if he would stick to the sexy designer cologne fragrances I pick out for him. The only reason I don’t come right out and tell him so is that I don’t want to seem like a control freak.
If I feel that strongly about my husband’s cologne then surely I should take his feelings into account when it comes to my eau perfume. If ever there comes a time when my husband sincerely dislikes my eau perfume I will probably give it away to someone else. My husband is the only man who comes close enough to really smell my eau perfume. Hence I feel that his opinion of the fragrance I am wearing is just as important as what I think.

There are a couple things every person is certain to see when going over to a friendly weekend get together for drinks. The first is that one person who has had a little bit too much to drink and talking to loud. They always offer entertainment. The second is the group of girls showing off their best dance moves behind a playlist of hits. The final thing isn’t really something you see but smell. There is always a melody of perfume and cologne scents when a bunch of people get together. This is a really good thing especially when people start cooking food, spilling drinks and stinking up the place.

Last night we had some people over and there was perfume and cologne wafting all over the apartment. No one over was hard to stand next to like the last time we had people over and a guy admitted to getting overzealous with the men’s cologne fragrance squirts. I can’t argue with her either, because I am in love with it as well.
